What to Expect
Starting behavioral health care can feel overwhelming, but our team is here to make the process comfortable, supportive, and confidential.
1
What happens after I schedule an appointment?
Once an initial appointment is scheduled, you will receive an appointment confirmation, as well as information about our office via SMS.
2
What do I need to bring to my first appointment?
Please bring your insurance card if you plan on using insurance benefits.
3
How do I know what my insurance coverage is? What will I owe for my sessions?
You can check your insurance coverage by asking your insurance provider the following questions:
-
Do I have mental health benefits?
-
What are my coverage dates?
-
What are my in-network mental health benefits for outpatient appointments?
-
Are telehealth appointments covered? (if applicable)
-
Do I have a deductible? If so, what is my deductible and has it been met or not?
-
Do I have a copay and if so, what is my copay?
-
How many sessions per year does my plan cover?
Your therapist will communicate your financial responsibility after the first session is billed to your insurance provider
